This is a museum quality reproduction of an extremely rare unofficial WWII Paratrooper Badge in Sterling Silver with the Cross of Lorraine made in brass and gold plated. The French Paratroopers that made it to England waited for D-Day to return to their country and free it from the Germans. While in England some of them had these paratrooper wings made with the Cross of Lorraine which was used as the symbol of the Free French, waiting for the day of return.
