This is a museum quality reproduction of the rare WWII Womens Air Service Pilot Wings (WASP) for the graduating class W-1. This is the version of the wing on the Gemsco cadet hat badge. Each of these were hand made by Tailor and Company of Houston Texas by converting the underlying badge with a new shield. This reproduction is made in the exact same way. Two different W-1 wings were made one from a Gemso Cadet Hat Badge and the other based on the Gemso Aerial Gunner wing.
