The Senior Pilot Wing was established in 1937 as the “Military Airplane Pilot.” The requirements were that a pilot have 12 years as a military pilot and at least 2000 flying hours. In 1940 the name was changed to Senior Pilot. This is a museum quality reproduction in sterling silver. Note this is an unusual design of where the star is held up by legs. Not many of the senior wings were of this design. The wing is the same as manufactured by Meyer.
