This is a museum quality reproduction of the famous WWII Josten Pilot wing in sterling silver. It has a pin back which is very rare for a Josten, all most other Josten wings are clutch backs, but this is the same as the original wing and is one of the heaviest wings that were made during the war. Another unusual item is that this wing is thicker than the Senior and Command Pilot wings made by the same company. This wing is missing from many collections. This wing is so rare that people will remove the Senior Star and Command oval to make one that looks like the basic Pilot. The thickness of this wing always gives away the cut downs.
