WW II Flight Nurse Wings. This is a very well made museum quality reproduction in Sterling Silver. Lots of detail, pin back with an 24kt Gold Plate over sterling. The first Flight Nurse wings were authorized on December 15, 1943 and on September 12, 1944 they were changed to silver only. Making the gold ones also called Type I rather rare. This is a 2inch wing with pin back in two part construction.
